down the plughole

Down the Plughole is an absurdist spoof of a kitchen sink drama, which explores representaiton of the middle and working classes. 

Marcus and Jeremy are two unemployed graduates who thought they could lie to the Arts Council and steal their money without anyone batting an eyelid. In a strange and unrealistic plot twist, the Arts Council are coming in the morning to get the play, and Marcus and Jeremy have a night to write a masterpiece to empower the disenfranchised North.
