EDINBURGH FRINGE 2020 PITCHES

Dates at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival: 15th-30th August 2020

It's that time of year again! I know, we can't quite believe it either, but here we are - time to pick the four shows we'll take to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2020. Take you time to familiarise yourself with every pitch below and consider which will make for the best overall show and cast experience. When you've done that, just head to the voting page linked below to cast your vote.

THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT EDINBURGH FRINGE PITCHES

How many shows do you take up to the Edinburgh Fringe?
We take up four shows each year

Does the show have to be new writing?
The show has to be original whether that be an idea you intend to devise or a working script. It cannot be a published script or a show that has been put on at QMTC or anywhere else previously

How long should the show be?
Each show cannot exceed 45 minutes as it needs to fit within our allotted time given by the venue

How many people per cast?
Each show cannot take more than eight/nine people to the Fringe, this includes directors, backstage crew and actors

What’s the Royal Mile?
A street in the centre of Edinburgh where shows advertise and hand out flyers. There’s a lot of competition so you have to think of unique ways to sell your show and catch the public’s attention

How much will this cost me?
 £330 per person

Why Are My Friends Better Than Me? - Peter Robins

Dear Baby Sis - Abi Adebayo and Mariella Bucci

If The Ban Worked - Gwyn Lawrence

Tilted Surfaces - Theo Otway and Isaac Rodin

Boycott Budley's - Peter Smart

Sexy Zombies (But Not in a Weird Way) - Robyn Bedford and Maddy Newton
