EVE

'Sometimes, I look at the tops of trees and think I’ll never climb them. I’ll never climb them because I’m scared of falling. Yes, I think I can’t climb that tree or I’ll fall and die.'

Ruth and Meg are sisters a decade apart. 'Eve' looks at their relationship and conversations on Midsummer Nights Eve in 2007 Penzance. Exploring the spiritual and sexual questions of adolescence and young adulthood, the sisters re-enact, appropriate and correct Midsummer rituals of fertility and faith.
