Come and see QMTC's entry foR the London Student Drama Festival! On a dark, stormy night, a Grandfather plays cards with his Grandson. It's the last night of Grandfather's life, and Grandson has come to pay his respects. However, this is no time for tea and biscuits... and Grandfather isn't going down without a fight.
Set in a modern world where dinosaurs still roam the earth, Jellyfish is an ink black comedy asking what really ties a family together, and what can crack it open so all the runny bits come out. CAST: Grandfather: Jack Ridley Grandson: Sam Woodyatt Written by Reece Connolly Directed by Emily Collins Stage Manager/Tech Designer: Patrick Balcombe Production Assistant: Georgia Moorhouse *********** QMTC are going on tour! (Well, when we say tour, we mean we're going somewhere that isn't the Pinter, we're going to say it's a tour because it sounds cooler.) After a sell-out preview at Queen Mary, Jellyfish is going to be representing QMTC at the London Student Drama Festival! This is going to be the first round of a competition across nine London universities, and if we get to the final we get to perform at the Pleasance in Islington! It would be incredible to have a strong group of support there- so please come along and bring all your enthusiasm/ I ♥ Jack Ridley memorabilia with you. Ticket information available here! Tickets cost £8 (£5 for concessions) and we will be performing alongside LSE, UCL and SOAS. Thanks a million + we can't wait to see you there! Team Jellyfish x |
