Winter Musical Applications
Pitch: 6.30PM Tuesday 15th October 2019
Festival Dates: 13th Dec - 14th Dec 2019
The holiday season is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than putting on a Winter Musical. It is going to be a great finale to semester one, where we can put on some amazing theatre and have lots of fun. It is not one to miss!
The floor is yours. We would love to see new work written and we also are allowing licensed shows for this festival, but these shows cannot be currently showing due to licensing issues. We want you to pitch work you're passionate about! We would like to advise that no show proposed is longer than 2 hours, and people must be prepared to cut it down if necessary. If you are pitching an original piece then scripts must be done by the end of October. We want to ensure whether you are pitching original shows or published they all have been finalised and are ready to go! We need to know all the details about your pitch, so if it is a licensed show then we must know the licensing costs, the duration and the cast size for the piece. Max cast size is 15, and people should be prepared to double-role.
Be prepared for questions after your pitch, from the committee and audience! We politely ask everyone to be respectful of others and to ask appropriate questions. We ask pitchers to arrive promptly at 6.15pm on the 15th October, in order to allow preparation time before the pitches commence.

HOW DO I PITCH?
Fill in the form below telling us all about your show! You'll present a five minute pitch to our members on the 15th October 2019 at 6.30PM and they will vote for their favourites. Ensure your pitch is memorable and descriptive, as this will allow the audience to get a thorough understanding of what you want to achieve. The show with the most votes will be our Winter Musical! Please remember to send an image to accompany your pitch to company@qmtc.co.uk
Attached below is the QMTC pitch guide which you can download and browse in order to gain full information on how pitches work and what to expect as a pitcher. We recommend you saving the file to your devices so you can refer back to the guide whenever you need.
